About

Music has been woven into the fabric of Jana’s life since before she could talk. Her father, a pastor, & her mother, a concert pianist and music instructor, filled their home with hymns, harmonies, & a deep love for worship. Sitting on the piano bench at age two, Jana does not remember a day without music in her life.

Jana wrote her first song at nine & performed an original piece at ten. During high school, she toured with singing groups, performing in churches and competitions, & was honored as Oklahoma’s Outstanding Female Vocalist in 1992.

Her musical influences are wonderfully diverse, from Mahalia Jackson to Andrea Bocelli.  Growing up, her family road trips were soundtracked by eight-track cassettes of Andraé Crouch & the Disciples, Tennessee Ernie Ford & the Jordanaires, and the Boston Pops Symphony, shaping her love for blending genres in worship. As a teenager, her favorite bands showcased strong musicalities with unique instrumentals & vocals from journey, chicago, & the police (sting, still being at the top of her current playlist).

In 2002, she introduced her first live worship album, All About You, featuring original songs. In 2008, she released original album, Song of Dreams, to benefit her pediatric patients & support SMA Angels charity. In 2015, she recorded & performed music to raise awareness for human trafficking, using her voice to bring hope & bring attention to important causes.

Her family’s musical heritage runs deep as her grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins were all gifted singers, musicians, and composers. Family occasions at her grandparents’ homes, would include gathering around the piano singing together & watching her grandparents lead or participate in their choirs. Those early experiences shaped her love for music & worship.

Over the years, she has led worship across the nation in Arizona, Oklahoma, Georgia, & Kentucky, including serving with Harvest Music Live at World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio, & as an interim worship leader for several church campuses in Austin, Texas.

Through it all, her passion has remained the same…to use music as a vessel of healing, ushering hearts into the presence of God, & to remind people of the power of His love. Today, she is the CEO & founder of Kingdom Frequency Record Label, & is excited to release her upcoming album, Louder, in Spring 2026.

But music is only part of the story.

What began on worship stages has grown into a deeper ministry focused on confronting fear, restoring identity, and rebuilding lives on truth. Through her book Healing What Fear Broke, teaching resources, and structured study tools, Jana equips individuals, churches, and small groups to move beyond inspiration into transformation.

If you are ready to engage the work of healing and reclaim what fear has tried to dismantle, explore the ministry resources below.

Beyond music, Jana is a devoted mother of five & proud “Gigi” to three grandchildren. A military veteran, Bible scholar, & seasoned nurse, she is currently completing nurse practitioner graduate studies. She is also active in her local church & volunteers in various health services, serving the Oklahoma community with compassion.

When Jana is not caring for her family & community, she enjoys exploring new cities, hiking scenic trails with her dog Trooper, gardening, cooking for family gatherings, & spirited “car-karaoke” sessions. You’ll also find her cheering on her favorite football & basketball teams.

In the near future, she will be hitting the road for her book & music tour, sharing the transformative message from her book, Healing What Fear Broke, appearing on podcasts, broadcast appearances, and live events to offer healing & hope to others.
